This page compares total carbs, not keto certification

The Chipotle nutrition PDF reports total carbohydrate and fiber but does not label meals ketogenic or establish an individual's carbohydrate limit. This guide therefore identifies lower-total-carbohydrate combinations from the frozen source rows. It does not certify ketosis, ingredients, cross-contact, or medical suitability.

Direct source rows or arithmetic sums of the standard portions named in each combined row.

The examples omit rice, beans, tortilla, corn salsa, and vinaigrette because those rows make larger carbohydrate contributions. They use standard portions and show total carbohydrate exactly as printed. A diner can choose different ingredients, but the resulting totals need to be recalculated rather than borrowed from these examples.

Start with meal form and protein

A bowl adds no edible form component, while the burrito tortilla adds 50 grams of carbohydrate. Supergreens adds 3 grams for a salad base. Among proteins, chicken and carnitas list zero carbohydrates, steak lists 1 gram, barbacoa 2, and sofritas 9.

Chicken has the highest protein at 32 grams and starts at 180 calories. Steak is lower at 150 calories with 21 grams of protein. Choosing sofritas for another dietary reason is possible, but its 9 grams of carbohydrate should remain visible in a lower-carb plan.

Toppings create different tradeoffs

Cheese adds 1 gram of carbohydrate, sour cream 2, queso blanco 4, fajita vegetables 5, and guacamole 8. Guacamole also supplies 6 grams of fiber, while the creamy dairy rows list none. This site does not subtract fiber to publish a net-carb claim because the requested source field is total carbohydrate.

Green and red chili salsas each list 4 grams of carbohydrate in their printed servings. Fresh tomato salsa also lists 4, while corn salsa has 16 and vinaigrette 18. Sodium can be high even when carbohydrate is low, so those fields require independent checks.

Read the sample combinations as arithmetic

The chicken, fajita vegetable, cheese, and romaine bowl in the table totals 315 calories, 39 grams of protein, and 7 grams of carbohydrate. The steak, sour cream, queso, and romaine bowl has fewer protein grams and more saturated fat despite a similarly small carbohydrate total.

Adding fresh tomato salsa to either meal raises carbohydrate by only 4 grams but sodium by 550 milligrams. A lower-carb objective cannot substitute for a sodium objective, and neither establishes that a configuration meets a clinician's dietary advice.

Verification and serving limits

The restaurant remains the source for current ingredients, allergens, and preparation. Nutrition values alone cannot confirm whether a recipe fits every interpretation of keto. The page deliberately avoids claims about hidden ingredients that the JSON does not contain.

All totals assume one standard portion. Extra protein, doubled cheese, partial salsa, and actual restaurant scoops can move the numbers. Use the calculator to audit the chosen rows and use GSC later to test whether this search theme earns real impressions.

Frequently asked questions

Does ChainMenu certify a Chipotle order as keto?

No. It reports total carbohydrate from source rows and leaves dietary certification and medical advice outside scope.

Which Chipotle proteins list zero carbs?

The standard chicken and carnitas rows list zero total carbohydrate.

Why is sodium discussed on a keto page?

Low total carbohydrate does not imply low sodium; several salsas and proteins carry substantial sodium values.
